Jamie Mills
Project Manager
Jamie has always known he was a builder and started building large forts in his backyard at the age of 10.
He continued this passion by graduating from a vocational school with certificates in welding fabrication. After a few years in the welding field, he gravitated back towards wood construction and began framing homes in his early 20’s. Jamie was fortunate to work for a developer for more than 10 years, which had him hands-on in every part of the development phase of large-scale neighborhoods, building high-end homes.
With a couple of decades of building in the greater Boston area under his belt, Jamie moved to New Hampshire where he started his own company doing additions and remodels in Southern NH.
A decision to move further north and build a farm had Jamie join the Outside In team, where he continues to pursue his passion for building as part of the Management Team.
Previously, he worked for himself for the last 25+ years, starting with painting homes around the Lakes Region, however, that was just the start. Interested in all aspects of the industry and eager to learn the other trades. He has had his hand in just about every aspect of the construction industry over the years from concrete construction, drywall, roofing, siding, assisting in building homes, stonework, tiling,
custom fireplace enclosures, built-ins, and more. In 2000, he started his remodeling business and built up a sizable client list, and grew his reputation.
As a young man, he was up first thing in the morning with his father who had a successful plumbing/ HVAC business. Paul was not just along for the ride, he played a role as his father’s helper, running back and forth to the van getting nozzles and fittings, motors, and controls. At the time, he thought he was just a gopher…. He realized this was a valuable learning experience in the industry, and this led to the start of a lifelong career in the trades.
When Paul isn’t providing clients with his expertise, he enjoys time with his dogs, and family, taking long adventurous rides with his friends with no destination planned on his motorcycle.

Jonathan Purington
Project Manager
partner and ultimately the owner in 2006. In 2009 after selling the company, he looked to travel and learn more about the construction trade. Spending 2 years working from coast to coast learning new building methods from across the country, he brought back his experience to New England in 2010 and went back to help his father close out his company, due to health reasons. In 2013 Awl Special Projects out of Kingston NH hired Jonathan as an estimator and that began the culmination of his years of experience in the field.
After AWL was bought out, Jonathan began his Project Managing career in 2014, when he was hired by Titan Services LTD. While their base offices were in Seabrook NH, and Charlestown MA Jonathan spent most of his days in the Greater Boston area. With 125 employees under his watchful eye and balancing multiple commercial projects worth nearly 10 million dollars. Today finds Jonathan assuming the position of Project Manager with Outside in Construction, where he will bring his vast knowledge of commercial and residential building systems once again to his home state.
In Jonathan’s free time he enjoys being with his wife Judy, his son Aiden, and the menagerie of animals on their working homestead. Whether building or relaxing Jonathan enjoys learning new and old methods of construction and will bring his skill-sets to your project like it was his own.
After being a caretaker for several homes on Squam Lake, he moved to Durham North Carolina to get out of the snow and became Assistant Director of Buildings and Grounds for a Montessori School. Later he would be promoted to the Directors position. Here Ken had two campuses to maintain, and budget for, and during that time there he built the first gym for the school. He also turned the old Administration building into a multimedia center and built the first upper school building, making them the first Montessori school in NC to have grades 9-12.
Missing his New England home, he moved back to New Hampshire, and for the last 5 years he has been tiling custom bathrooms, remodeling various properties, and building homes. Ken decided he wanted to move into the administrative part of the business, while staying heavily involved in construction, having enjoyed the construction process for many years. Ken brings his over two decades of experience and comprehensive understanding to his position of Estimator at Outside In Construction.
In Ken’s spare time he enjoys kayaking and hiking with his dog. He is a huge Boston sports fan, along with UNH hockey fan, he tries to attend as many sporting events as possible.

Aimee Brothers
Selections Specialist
Aimee joined the Outside In team after working in interior design and construction for 13 years. She studied design at NH Institute of Art and began working as an independent designer thereafter. Over the years, Aimee gained valuable experience in design, retail, and remodeling to sharpen her CAD skills, construction knowledge, and decorating prowess.
In her new role as Selections Specialist, Aimee will support our Project Managers, clients, and vendors with her organizational skills and positive attitude. Estimating, CAD drawing, among other administrative functions, will help her continue to grow in an industry she has come to love.
Aside from work, Aimee enjoys personal development, being in nature, cooking, and spending time with her husband, family, and pets.
Utilizing her degree in Ornamental Horticulture, she was able to help grow the garden center, as well as the landscape maintenance side of the company. Heather later went on to work as a receptionist at a large car dealership, before accepting a position as a claims analyst with another family-owned company that specializes in Medicaid billing. She spent six years organizing and processing claims for thousands of clients, as well as implementing new procedures to improve the performance of the company.
In 2014, Heather and her husband, Joshua, welcomed their first child, Colton. He was born premature, which convinced Heather to become a stay at home mom for the first year. After a year her son was thriving, and not showing any signs of being born premature, so Heather decided it was time to get back to work. And that is how she found Outside In.
As the Office Manager, Heather has many tasks, from simply answering the phones, greeting visitors, and developing forms and procedures to increase efficiency throughout the company. Her future goals include connecting Outside In Construction with our clients via blogs and social media, as well as taking on additional tasks to help management in any way she can.
In Heather’s free time, she enjoys getting outside with her family and two chocolate labs. Whether it is hiking, swimming, playing on the farm, or even lawnmower racing, her family is always doing something outside to enjoy the beautiful NH landscape.
